David H. Crean, Ph.D is a Managing Partner at Cardiff Advisory. Previously, Dr. Crean served as Managing Director for Objective Capital Partners, a middle market investment banking firm located in southern California, where he led the firm’s Mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnering, valuations and capital financing transactions with life science and healthcare companies. Dr. Crean has in excess of 25 years of transactional experience. Dr. Crean holds FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses and is a FINRA Registered Investment Banking Representative through BA Securities, LLC.

Dr. Crean holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree with a finance concentration from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Management. Additionally, he holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree in Biophysics and a Masters of Science (MS) Degree in Oncology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Crean also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Biology/ Pre-Med from Canisius College.
Laurenn is a brand marketer and business strategist with a diverse background in marketing, sales, and product development. She's worked exclusively in health, wellness and consumer technology for over a decade, and has built and managed teams for brands like MINDBODY, Echelon Fitness Multimedia, Health Plus and Yoga Six. Ms. Cutshaw developed an interest in capital financing at Yoga Six where she contributed to a $20M raise; she has since had 2 successful exits. Laurenn enjoys supporting companies through transition. She specializes in early stage growth strategy and scale, and leading new initiatives within larger organizations. Laurenn received her B.A. from Penn State University.

Alexander Johns is Chairmain of Arete Strategies, LLC, an advisory firm providing market research, analytics, and strategic input on business development, product development, marketing, and commercialization for biopharmaceutical companies. Mr. Johns has in excess of 30 years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industries working with C-Suite executives and Boards of Directors in defining, refining, and executing strategies for growth and exit.
